This May Day, communities across the country are organizing under the call Workers Over Billionaires. On May 1, 2026, workers, families, and organizers will rally, march, and take part in coordinated actions nationwide.
This is more than a single-day mobilization. From a day of No Work, No School, No Shopping to local actions across the country, May Day is a chance to flex collective power and show what is possible when people act together in the face of growing inequality and attacks on our communities.
There are several ways that you can get involved, including:
- No Work (calling off of work)
- No School (walking off of campus / school)
- No Shopping (not spending / shopping)
- If you own a business you can do one of the following:
- Close your business on May 1st
- Give your workers the day off
- Pledge a % of your profits to organizations that support workers and democracy
- Canvas local businesses asking them to sign a pledge to do one of the above actions
- Join our rally on May 1st from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the corner of South Bartlett and Stearns
